Getting started on a COPD registry
This document explains how to use standardized queries in your EMR to start building chronic disease registries. The instructions below focus on COPD. The COPD query is intended for teams that do not yet have a reliable list of COPD patients and don’t have the time or resources to start from scratch in reviewing all their patients to generate such a list. Right now, it is also only for teams with PSS or Accuro although work is continuing to expand the standardized query to OSCAR and Nightingale.
