I am writing today to share an update on AFHTO’s leadership.
AFHTO’s Board of Directors is appointing Sherry Parsley as Interim CEO, effective June 26, 2023.
Sherry has over twenty years of experience in healthcare leadership. She has demonstrated success joining organizations in interim roles, quickly gaining the trust and support of the teams she leads. She has a breadth of experience in executive recruitment and organizational assessment, service design and delivery, operations, and policy development.
The Board would like to thank Bryn Hamilton for her leadership as AFHTO’s Interim CEO and for her commitment to supporting AFHTO and their members. Over the years, Bryn has played a critical role in supporting our members specifically when it comes to building stronger governance and leadership for teams. We wish her all the best in her next endeavour.
As you know, the Board is currently recruiting for a new permanent CEO. That process is ongoing, and we will have more to share on this in the coming months.
With the full support of the Board, we are confident that Sherry Parsley will continue to keep AFHTO focused on supporting our members and working towards our mission of ensuring every Ontarian has access to high quality, comprehensive team-based care.
