Objectives
We are pleased to announce the inaugural Developmental Disabilities Primary Care Program (DDPCP) Forum, taking place on Friday, December 6th. Organized by the DDPCP, in collaboration with the University of Toronto Continuing Professional Development (CPD), this event will provide a unique platform to explore key issues in healthcare for individuals with developmental disabilities. Attendees will have the opportunity to:
- Learn from experts and individuals with lived experience: Attendees will gain valuable insights into best practices and practical tools that can be applied in clinical and community settings to improve healthcare for individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Engage in strategic discussions: The forum will offer opportunities to discuss and develop strategies aimed at creating meaningful change within the healthcare system to enhance the quality of care for people with developmental disabilities in Canada.
- Build connections: Attendees will have the chance to meet and connect with professionals and community members who want to make meaningful change in healthcare.
