TORONTO, Nov. 5, 2019 /CNW/ - Fife House Foundation has proudly announced the opening of the Huntley Transitional Housing Program. Located in a newly renovated historic facility on Huntley Street, the program welcomed its first clients in late August.
Hosted by the International Foundation for Integrated Care (IFIC)
Ontario’s novel collaborative is designed to bring those interested and involved in integrated care together. More than 1,000 people have now connected through this virtual collaborative, convened by The International Foundation for Integrated Care (IFIC), The Change Foundation and the Institute of Health, Policy, Management and Evaluation (IHPME).
The ECHO Ontario Conference aims to bring ECHOs together with its stakeholders to celebrate our successes, share ideas and collaborate to better support the Ontario healthcare system.

Choosing Wisely is excited to announce the release of new tools and resources available from the Using Antibiotics Wisely campaign.
Using Antibiotics Wisely was launched two years ago to encourage clinician and patient conversations about the harms of unnecessary antibiotic use. With support from the Public Health Agency of Canada, they have focused our efforts on reducing unnecessary antibiotics for respiratory tract infections in primary care and asymptomatic bacteriuria in long-term care.

For many people living with major depression and anxiety disorder, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) is a key component of their treatment. While CBT is traditionally delivered in a face-to-face session, an alternative option for CBT delivery over the Internet is also available, helping some patients to overcome barriers to accessing timely and effective therapy.
