Is Your Team Ready? New Amendments to Non-Profit Governance

This webinar was hosted in partnership with Miller Thomson LLP for all AFHTO members about recent changes to the Ontario Corporations Act (OCA). Amendments were made to this Act following the passage of the Cutting Unnecessary Red Tape Act, 2017. These amendments to the OCA brought flexibility to the Ontario non-profit governance rules. The webinar with Miller Thomson LLP included the following:

  • Review of recent amendments to the existing Corporations Act in Ontario now in effect
  • Update on status of the Ontario Not-for-Profit Corporations Act, 2010 (ONCA)
