As you may be aware from media outlets, a global malware outbreak has occurred, which began affecting organizations in the UK National Health Service yesterday and spread globally throughout the day.
Please see the attached memo (originally sent to all hospital CEOs regarding this ransomware attack).
The attached memo includes a link to a software patch that will protect from the malware attack. We urge you to check this memo, consult with your IT departments/staff and take appropriate action.
As this disruption has expanded beyond hospitals, please forward this memo to all health system partners.
