CAMH Opioid De-Implementation Initiative
CAMH’s Opioid De-Implementation Initiative aims to promote evidence-based practices for treating pain and addiction in primary health care. They are currently offering:
- Opioid De-Implementation in Primary Care: An interactive webinar on January 8, 2019 presented by project lead Dr. Peter Selby. Topics of discussion will include a systematic approach to identifying risk of opioid overdose and/or dependence, tapering opioids, and treating addiction, pain or both.

Participants will gain a deeper understanding of advanced concepts in addiction, such as harm reduction and concurrent disorders.
The Addressing Substance Use Champions Level 1 Workshop is a prerequisite for this session.
If you have not attended Level 1, mandatory completion of the "Engaging Clients with Substance Use Disorders" e-Learn must be completed in order to participate in Level 2.
