Objectives:
At the end of the workshop, the target audience will be able to:
1.    Approach stroke/TIA diagnosis and management in a practical, primary care environment
2.    Translate Canadian Best Practice Recommendations as related to secondary stroke prevention into their practice
3.    Utilize conclusions from new stroke prevention literature in their daily practice
4.    Review the role of primary care providers in optimizing stroke prevention
5.    Share community resources in the Southwestern Ontario region

Primary Care Practitioners working in Windsor-Essex, Chatham-Kent counties, including Family Physicians, Nurse Practitioners and Family Practice Residents
