Hosted by Health Care Access Research and Developmental Disabilities (H-CARDD), (CAMH)
As part of an Ontario SPOR SUPPORT Unit EMPOWER award, CAMH are holding a workshop (online and in person) for family caregivers to improve health care communication. This webinar/workshop is part of the Azrieli Family Education Series and will be facilitated by family advisors at CAMH.
Families play a key role in supporting adults with developmental disabilities (DD) to manage their health. How can parents and siblings support their family member with a developmental disability to get the best health care possible? We will focus this session on two key communication tools, About My Health and My Health Care Visit, and how using health care communication tools can really make a difference.
