Puppetry is a playful and creative tool for caregivers. It helps us look at things differently and encourage social interaction. Through puppet-making activities, we explore ways to build rewarding intergenerational connections. In this webinar, we will demonstrate how puppetry and storytelling can help caregivers:
- Explain to children the caregiver role, why it’s important, and changes in family dynamics when someone needs special care
- Interact in a joyful and engaging way with their care recipients, especially those diagnosed with dementia at any stage of the disease
