Hosted by the University of Ottawa and the Eczema Society of Canada
Despite the importance of managing atopic dermatitis (AD) and the significant physical and psychosocial burden and impact on quality of life that this condition can have on patients, under recognition and undertreatment of AD is common especially in areas with limited access to dermatology specialty care.
This virtual seminar is targeted towards primary care clinicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other health care professionals who care for patients with atopic dermatitis. It will address important topics such as diagnosis and assessment, goals of therapy, different types of treatments including latest advances, and addressing safety concerns with topical corticosteroids. This seminar is supported by Eczema Society of Canada (ESC) and we will give participants resources that ESC has to offer.
This session will be followed by a question and answer period with Dr. Rachel Asiniwasis (Dermatologist, Saskatchewan) and Dr. Genevieve Gavigan (Dermatologist, Ottawa).
This event will take place on Monday March 1st, 2021 at 8-9pm EST. If you are interested, please fill out the attached google form. Once your registration is confirmed, we will send you an email with the zoom link.
