To work with a network of community partners committed to anti-oppressive, anti-racism, and trauma-informed practices, focused on increasing access and inclusivity. You will have the opportunity to receive high quality training and clinical supervision through the OSP structures. In this new program, you will be able to contribute and inform the development of more accessible publicly funded treatment for those in our community.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Master’s degree or bachelor’s degree that has the practice of psychotherapy central to its program. 
  • Registered member in good standing with one of the five Colleges regulated to perform the Controlled Act of Psychotherapy in Ontario and who are regulated to practice the controlled act of psychotherapy.
  • Experience in the provision of mental health and/or addictions treatment (2-3 years minimum)
  • Advanced knowledge of barriers, intersectionality and social determinants of health related to equitable access to, and participation in mental health care.
  • Experience in CBT is an asset

The Logistics & Compensation:

  • This new program is in development; flexibility in working arrangements, including work hours (afterhours, weekends) and work location is required. Applicants must also be able to adapt delivery of services based on client preference. (i.e., virtual, in-person, etc.).
  • Organizational commitment to work-life balance, including options for a hybrid work model
  • Comprehensive Pension Plan (HOOPP) 
  • Health Care Spending Account
  • Salary range: $70,000 – 82,000

If successful in receiving a job offer, new hires will be required to provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination prior to start date as a condition of their employment. If successful candidates are unable to get their COVID-19 vaccination as a result of a medical exemption, they will be required to submit supporting documentation to determine if they are exempt from this requirement.
