Mental Health Clinician (Term) - Peterborough FHT (Peterborough)

Mental Health Clinician, 0.9 Full Time Equivalent (33.75 hours per week). This is a maternity leave contract with an anticipated end date of July, 2022.

Drawing on your 3+ years of clinical mental health experience working with patients in a health care setting, you will provide psychotherapy and psychosocial interventions, health education, crisis intervention, patient navigation and advocacy on behalf of patients. You hold at least a BSW (MSW preferred) and OCSWSSW registration or a M.ED/MA in Counselling Psychology and CRPO registration. Other degrees will be considered, however you must belong to a related professional college. Clinical experience in the community and experience leading groups would be an asset, as would additional training and/or experience in any of the following areas: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Trauma Informed Approach and comfort level and experience working with issues across a broad spectrum.
