Health for All Family Health Team (FHT) is an inter-professional primary care clinic with a mission to provide excellent patient-centred care and invest in the health care practitioners of tomorrow. The Health for all FHT offers a wide range of primary care services including acute, chronic and preventative health care. Importantly, the FHT is also the site of the Markham Family Medicine Teaching Unit, a partnership with Markham Stouffville Hospital and the University of Toronto Department of Family and Community Medicine.
The Health for all FHT team of health professionals comprises family physicians, registered nurses, nurse practitioners, a physician assistant, pharmacist, dietitian, case manager and social workers, all working together to provide primary health care for our community. The Health for all FHT provides home visits and are skilled in geriatric care, low risk obstetrics, global health and palliative care. They strive to serve our community in a dynamic clinical and educational environment that supports our belief in Health for All.
The Health for all FHT are active partners in the new Eastern York Region North Durham OHT with plans to focus first year efforts on patients with mental health challenges and/or addictions and those living with dementia and their caregivers.
They are looking for our next Executive Director.
This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative, inspiring and results-oriented leader to report to and work with our Board of Directors and join our highly skilled team at Health for All FHT.
As Executive Director you will provide leadership and guidance to help us achieve our strategic priorities to improve the health of our patients and population, to excel in patient access, continuity of care and program delivery and to collaborate in teaching and scholarship. You will also assist the Family Health Organization (FHO) manage those aspects of HFAFHT’s services supported by the FHO.

Success in this role calls for the ability to work closely with the Lead Physician and Board of Directors to identify and seize strategic opportunities and ensure accountability, financial, operational and administration efficiency and performance excellence throughout the organization.
You have a master’s degree in health administration or a related field with a minimum of five years of progressive management experience or a suitable combination of education and experience. You have experience leading an inter-professional team within a health care setting and working with a Board of Directors.
The current salary is $106,500 plus benefits and RSP contribution.
